In order to boost performance in a website, one of the steps to follow is to minify js and css files to decrease time to receive them. I used Combinator helper found at http://bakery.cakephp.org/articles/st3ph/2010/09/10/combinator-compress-and-combine-your-js-and-css-files. It’s awesome.
